Welcome to My Blog
My journey started in December of 2015 when I found the incredible home décor community of Instagram! I had been on Instagram and Pinterest for a few years prior and had always found so much inspiration. So I decided to start, @thetatteredpew (named after my beloved pew in our entry way). I was instantly hooked on Instagram and felt an immediate connection with other home owners who loved to share their decorating styles. I had finally found a venue to share my passion! From here I was inspired by other women and friends, whom I had met through this community, to branch out and start a blog. My hopes are that other working mom’s, like myself, who are busy and on a budget, will be encouraged through some of my daily shenanigans with life and home decorating! I hope you will join me as I share decorating tips and tricks, DIY projects, my eclectic style of coastal cottage farmhouse, and the occasional bout of sassiness!
