The tattered Pew

Have you used Modge Podge before? This medium is fun to experiment with and with just a few other materials, can be used to breathe new life into old materials like this cutting board.

Prepare Surface

Add painters tape around the edge of the board. This is only necessary if you plan to only add the Modge Podge design to the top of your board's surface.

Apply Modge Podge

Generously brush the Modge Podge on to the top of your cutting board. I prefer to use a sponge brush but any brush will work.

Apply to Napkin

Apply some of your Modge Podge to the back of your napkin or paper. Tip: Modge Podge dries quickly so don't wait too long to apply it!

Smooth It Out

Turn the napkin over and flatten it on the top of your cutting board. Apply a top coat of Modge Podge.  Use your hands to flatten it out and push out the wrinkles towards the edges.
