Welcome to The Tattered Pew!

Here you will find an authentic, crazy hard working mom and wife who is an amateur photographer and self-taught designer. I am all about keeping it real and making my perfectly imperfect house into the home of my dreams. One step at a time…

My hope is that other working moms, like myself, who are busy and on a budget, will be encouraged through some of my daily shenanigans with life and home decorating! So grab some coffee or tea and join me as I share decorating tips and tricks, DIY projects, my eclectic style of coastal cottage farmhouse, and the occasional bout of sassiness! I pray you will enjoy reading about my home, my heart, my family and this crazy little family tradition of the church pew!

I am SO excited that you are here for the Easy Summer Styling Home Tour!  I have joined up with some very creative and talented bloggers to show you how we decorated our homes  for the summer; so make sure to stop by and see my take on a coastal in Colorado summer home! xoxo, Kelly

I am so close to finishing this challenge and I am loving the progress so far! Stop by to see what I have been up to! XOXO, Kelly

I’m back to show you some major progress in week 2 of the $100 Room Challenge hosted by Erin over at Lemons Lavender and Laundry! This week was all about the shiplap wall behind our bed. Stop by to see my progress! Kelly

I have been searching for the perfect topiaries for quite awhile now. Ok let me rephrase that, “affordable” topiaries. Because you can usually find beautiful topiaries but goodness gracious they almost always cost a fortune! My love affair with topiaries started because of my mom. She has a set of beautiful boxwood topiaries that I have always admired and I especially love how she uses them in her home. Thus began my hunt for the perfect topiaries! Join me over on the blog today to see my new topiaries and how I have styled them! XOXO, KELLY
