The Ultimate Refreshing Summer Drink

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to slow down, enjoy a cool refreshing drink, and relax with my husband! I only have a few more precious weeks of summer left before I return to school so I am soaking it up and enjoying my favorite summer sips while I can! 😉

Summer Sips Blog Hop

Today myself, along with 5 other talented bloggers, have rounded up our favorite refreshing summer sips to share with you all. Make sure you visit each of their links at the bottom of my post. They all look amazing and I am excited to try them out!

The Ginger Fizz

The refreshing drink I am sharing with you all today I like to refer to as, “The Ginger Fizz”! My sister helped me come up with the awesome name and my husband came up with the idea, and I of course loved it instantly. Below you can find the ingredients and directions.

1/2 can of gingerale

1 ounce of lime juice or a fresh lime

1 sprig of fresh mint

2 ounces of gin

This is where the easy part comes in! Fill you glass of choice with ice, add two ounces of your favorite gin (I used a local favorite Dry Town), add 1/2 the can of gingerale and literally a splash of the lime juice. I add it to my liking! 😉 Then garnish with fresh mint and enjoy! SO easy and so refreshing. I’ve also made this without the gin and it tastes just as good!

Enjoy A Summer Sip

I hope you will find some time to relax and enjoy some refreshing sips of your own this summer. Let me know if you try The Ginger Fizz or any of the other drinks shared on the blog hop. Don’t forget to stop by the other 5 blogger’s posts (blue links below) to see what they are serving up this summer. Cheers!
