15 Pretty Vases for Fresh Flowers I’m Loving Right Now

| |

If I could only keep a handful of my vases…these would definitely make the cut!

I’m always bringing flowers inside from the garden, and over the years I’ve learned that having a few pretty vases for fresh flowers makes arranging them so much more fun. Some of these are traditional vases, while others are things I’ve repurposed or use in unexpected ways, pitchers, a book-shaped vase, a pumpkin jar, and even propagation stations.

Basically, if it can hold water and flowers, I’m willing to give it a try.

Today I’m sharing 15 pretty vases for fresh flowers that I’m loving right now. Some are simple, some are quirky, some are coastal, and some are just plain fun.

15 Pretty Vases for Fresh Flowers I’m Loving Right Now

1. Clear Glass Bud Vase Set

I love having little bud vases on hand because they make even the smallest handful of flowers feel special.

This set comes with an assortment of clear glass shapes, which makes it fun to mix and match them down the center of a table, on a windowsill, or around the house.

They’re especially perfect for single zinnia stems or any of those shorter flowers you accidentally snip.

2. Clear Wall Propagation Vases

These wall-mounted glass vases were originally designed for plant propagation, but I love using them as little flower vases too.

They’re such a fun way to bring flowers up onto the wall instead of always placing them on a tabletop. A few simple stems look so pretty in them, and because the glass is clear, the flowers really get to be the star.

3. White Ceramic Flower Frog Bowl

This one is so unique!

The little holes in the top work like a built-in flower frog, which helps keep each stem right where you want it. I think this style is especially pretty with flowers that have long, whimsical stems because you can spread them out and create a loose, airy arrangement without needing a huge bouquet.

4. Hanging Propagation Station

I’ve had so much fun with this hanging propagation station over the years.

Of course it’s wonderful for plant cuttings, but I also pull it out and use the glass tubes as tiny vases. Fill each tube with a different bloom and suddenly your flowers become wall art.

It’s such an easy way to enjoy individual flowers that might otherwise get lost in a larger arrangement.

5. Matte White Gurgle Pot Pitcher

How cute is this one?

The classic fish shape gives it so much personality, but the matte white keeps it from feeling too busy. I love pieces that can do double duty, and this can be used as a pitcher or filled with fresh flowers for a fun centerpiece.

It would be especially cute with a big, loose garden bouquet.

6. Sculptural Clear Glass Vase

This clear glass vase has such a pretty sculptural shape.

I love that it feels modern but still lets the flowers be the focus. The stacked curves give it a little extra interest even when it isn’t full of flowers, which means it can easily stay out as part of your decor.

7. Blue and White Ginger Jar

You know I can’t resist blue and white. 💙

Technically this is a ginger jar, but remove the lid and it instantly becomes a gorgeous vase. It’s one of those pieces that looks beautiful sitting on a shelf on its own and then becomes even better when filled with flowers.

White hydrangeas, pink zinnias, or greenery would all be so pretty in this one.

8. Blue and White Striped Ceramic Pitcher

A striped pitcher filled with flowers is one of my favorite easy decorating tricks.

This blue and white version feels cheerful, classic, and just a little coastal. I’d use it for everything from a casual kitchen bouquet to a centerpiece on the patio.

And when you aren’t using it as a vase, it’s still cute enough to leave sitting out.

9. White Seashell Vase

This seashell-shaped vase is such a fun little statement piece.

It brings in that coastal feel without being overly themed, and the sculptural shape makes it pretty even when it’s empty. Add some colorful flowers and the white shell really lets them pop.

10. Afloral Ridged Zinc Metal Vase

I love mixing different textures into my flower arrangements, and this ridged zinc vase does exactly that.

The metal gives it a slightly vintage, collected look while the simple shape keeps it easy to use. It would be so pretty with dahlias, zinnias, or even a bunch of greenery.

11. Rattan-Wrapped Glass Vase

This vase combines clear glass with woven rattan, which gives it such a pretty relaxed texture.

It feels a little coastal, a little vintage, and very easygoing.

I especially love it for larger bunches of flowers or branches where you want the vase itself to add some warmth to the arrangement.

12. The Secret Garden Book Vase

This might win the award for most charming vase in the group.

It looks like a little copy of The Secret Garden, but it’s actually a ceramic vase!

It’s such a cute bookshelf accent, but once you add flowers, it becomes even sweeter. This would also make such a fun gift for someone who loves books and flowers.

13. Green and White Striped Ceramic Mug

Okay, technically this one is a mug, and that’s exactly why I love including it.

You absolutely do not need a traditional vase to make a pretty flower arrangement. A fun mug like this one is perfect for a handful of shorter stems and makes an adorable little arrangement for a kitchen counter, desk, or bedside table.

14. Clear Glass Pumpkin Jar

Another reminder to look around your home before buying a vase!

This clear glass pumpkin jar is technically made for candy, but take off the lid and suddenly you have the cutest seasonal vase. I’d fill this one with fall-colored zinnias, dahlias, mums, or greenery.

It’s such an easy way to make a flower arrangement feel seasonal without trying too hard.

15. Clear Acrylic 16-Hole Flower Arranging Vase

This might be one of the most fun options for arranging flowers because the holes do the work for you. Instead of trying to make every stem stay in place, you simply tuck flowers into the individual openings.

It creates that full, low, garden-style arrangement that looks beautiful down the center of a dining table. I especially love this idea for zinnias because you can mix colors and sizes while keeping the entire arrangement low enough to see across the table.

You Don’t Always Need a Traditional Vase

One of my favorite things about collecting vases is realizing that almost anything can become one.

Pitchers, mugs, jars, crocks, propagation tubes, ginger jars—if it can safely hold water, I’m probably going to try putting flowers in it. 😆

I like having a mix of:

  • Small bud vases for single stems
  • Medium vases for everyday garden bouquets
  • Larger pitchers for hydrangeas and fuller arrangements
  • Low vessels for centerpieces
  • A few quirky pieces just because they make me happy

That way, no matter what I’m cutting from the garden, I usually have something that works.
