Happenings at Home & Welcome 2024

Last weekend we said welcome to 2024 and this weekend we will be celebrating my husband’s birthday! For his big gift we had a tv mounted to our house by our hot tub so he can watch sports. We showed him early because we were just so excited. He loved it!!!

What a fun way to begin 2024. I am looking forward to a fresh start 2023 was a good year for our family and I’m praying that happens again this year! My prayer is that you too have a wonderful new year.

In other news our Christmas decor is still up and going strong!

Also, over on break I was able to meet up and visit with my friend Jen who blogs over at Midwest Life and Style. She was in town for Christmas visiting family just down the street from us! Jen has a blog all about entertaining and some of the best recipes. You must stop by and check it out! It was fun to catch up and see each other in person. I treasure her friendship!

There was also some big news for me personally! I had the honor of having an article featured in the Feb/March issue of one of my favorite magazines, Cottages and Bungalows! A total pinch me moment and huge honor. The article featured pictures of our home decorated for winter after Christmas along with tips on how to accomplish winter decor. It was so fun and a great way to start the new year!!! I was so excited to share the news with you!

Amazon Winter Decor

This weekend is when I will most likely start transitioning from Christmas to winter decor. It will be a slow process as I am still LOVING my Christmas decor. But I will say it did inspire me to start looking for some pretty winter decor! Check out the collage below.
