Welcome Home Saturday

Hello friends! Welcome to this week’s edition of Welcome Home Saturday, a weekly series where several of my friends and I gather every Saturday on our blogs to share what is inspiring us around the web. Plus, catch a peek into what’s been happening with me lately.

Welcome Home Saturday: Happenings at Home

The cold this past week got a bit ridiculous! Did it for you too? At one pint it was negative 19 degrees! We were in the negatives for several days, the girls had a snow day and the inside of our windows has frost on them. Luckily no burst or frozen pipes (like last year) and so I was feeling very blessed to have a warm home over our heads.

Welcome Home Saturday

The sunsets this week were stunning and I was stopped several times by it’s beauty! It was the perfect reminder I needed to slow down and take it all in.

I’ve been feeling pretty unmotivated lately. I’m sure it has to do with the weather but hoping to get out of this funk next week!

I’m still doing some behind the scene work on an exciting new project that I will be launching on February 1st! Last week some of you had some guesses what it was. So this week I figured I would let you in on more of it since I want you to be the first to know!

zinnias

It has to do with my favorite flowers, zinnias! It is almost zinnia season and I can hardly wait. If you want to join me this year in planting your own zinnias then stay tuned for my big announcement. Also, you can get on my ZINNIA waitlist if you want some info sooner!

This Week On The Blog

This week I only shared one updated post and it was my 35 Subtle Valentine’s Decor Ideas post. I don’t often go all out for Valentine’s Day but I love a subtle nod in my decor. Come see what I rounded up!

Subtle Valentine's Day Decor Ideas

On Tuesday last week my mom shared her first Tuesdays With Tracy post of 2024! It was a fun one full of lots of pretty colors. Did you get a chance to read it?

Tuesdays With Tracy : Happy New Year

It’s no secret that I adore the color green. It all stems from my favorite Boxwood green dresser! Well, over on Instagram I shared THIS post all about how green is a neutral so I also wanted to share this collage!

Have you ever thought about green being a neutral?

Links and Loves

I have some fun links to share with you all today. Did you know if you click a shopping link in one of my posts and buy something (even if it’s not the same item I have linked) I earn a commission? 1. Happy weekend, friend. Yes, we have had the FRIGID cold temps and snow days here too! To say I am counting down to spring would not be an exaggeration!

    Stay warm!

  2. Hi from down under, just dropped by to have a look around and read and now to tell you that I found the post interesting as I usual do, if I didn’t I wouldn’t drop by, I am having a nice cool start to the day but it won’t last in for a top of 31 degrees Celsius

  3. Frigid indeed! We haven’t had much of a winter here in Berks County, PA in a couple of years so it has been a bit challenging. I guess we got “soft” and there were some folks who forgot how to drive in it. It snowed twice this week for only a total of 7 inches which really isn’t much. However, for a house with 5 old pampered chihuahuas/chihuahua mixes, it might have well been 12 feet. Yes, prompt the exasperated mama emoji, please. My favorite color also is green, tho my love of green comes from my love of gardening. Boxwood Green is my favorite color from that product line, it is all over my house! Green is followed quite closely by black (Typewriter … HELLO Dear friend who covers up the stains that stripping doesn’t on a furniture re-do!) as my second favorite colors. Loved all the links, several went onto my For Later list on Amazon.

    1. Hi Tams! We hadn’t had much of a winter here either until last week. It’s just been odd. I love that we share the love of Boxwood Green. Typewriter is also a fave of mine as well. Thanks for stoppin by today!
