Happenings at Home

Happy February friends…love is in the air! January felt like the longest month but I know that month for me was a great time to rest. We even had a few 60 degree days that left me excited for Spring!

This past week my childhood best friend, Annie came for a visit and it was wonderful! We had fun catching up, getting pedicures and eating good food.

We met up for lunch with my mom and sister too and made fun plans and laughed more than I have in a long time. I love how we can alwasy pick right up where we left off. Good friends feed my soul!

I also had some time to run to Trader Joe’s and grab some of their mini-daffodils and forsythia branches and create a living centerpiece! I added the daffodils in their pots to a bowl. covered them with moss and then propped up the branches. I am in love!

And now I am counting down the days for Spring. How about you?

Aren’t you clever with that blue mixer in the blue post coming up.
    You go gurl!

    1. Thank you Nan! So the green print you are seeing is actually painted on a wastebasket that I found at an estate sale. I have found it online but it is outrageous! I would say look for a metal painted container to replace it. I hope that helps! Happy weekend!
