Welcome to Our Home

Welcome! I have had so much fun decorating our house for summer and I may have taken a ton of pictures…so prepare for picture overload! If you have visited my blog before you know I have a thing for old church pews. One greets you on our porch and one greets you as you enter our front door! This year our home looks a lot different from last summer’s tour. We have new tile in the entry and I painted the pew too. Come on in and take a peek!Welcome to our easy summer styling home tour!

I added several little dollar store flags and a few starfish to give our entryway that summer feel.

This darling little pew is patriotic and all dressed up for summer!

Each and every little detail of our summer home tour was thought out but also easy to do!

Our Dining Room

As you walk past our pew you are greeted by our dining room. I kept the decor in here this summer very simple. I mostly looked around our home (and my mom’s) for red, white and blue items. My mom came over and helped me style the shelves in this gorgeous printers cabinet I found at a local consignment shop;  Curate Consignments. I love how it turned out!

My tea cup topiaries are front and center along with a mix of my quilts and my mom’s quilts. I also had fun using quilts in several different ways in our family room for summer!

Across from this cabinet is our dining table. Here I created another easy summer vignette and this time I used french lemonade bottles and more starfish. The basket of baseballs is tucked in the corner and shows off our family’s love for baseball! Easy summer styling home tour featuring our dining room.

Baseballs are a fun and easy way to decorate for summer.

The Kitchen

Just past our dining room is our kitchen. It is on the right and our family room is on the left. They both share space with my favorite boxwood green dresser! I shared our family room last week and you can see that by clicking here.Easy summer styling ideas.

A peek into our summer kitchen!

You may have noticed I love mixing the old with the new when it comes to decor. These periwinkle goblets are no exception! I found these beauties at my favorite local flea market, A & J Antiques and thought about them for weeks. Finally, I went back and they were luckily still there. I feel like they were made for my kitchen!

These periwinkle goblets were a fabulous adition to our summer decor...I found them at a local flea market.

Pops of blue and yellow bring a fun summer touch to the kitchen.

Once I had the periwinkle goblets I knew a blue hydrangea would be a perfect addition over on our kitchen table. Instead I came across this gorgeous green and blue hydrangea at the grocery store. Isn’t it fabulous? I shared our garden last week and our hydrangeas are close to blooming. This hydrangea will hold me over until they do.
